The Constitution of the Republic of the Marshal Islands pursuant to Article 7; Section 5:

The Public Service Commission.(1) There shall be a Public Service Commission of the Republic of the Marshall Islands consisting of a Chairman and 2 other members. (2) The Chairman and other members of the Public Service Commission shall be appointed by the Cabinet, acting with the approval of the Nitijela, signified by resolution. (3) At any one time, at least 2 members of the Public Service Commission shall be citizens of the Republic; and no member of the Commission shall remain a member if he ceases to be such a citizen.
